Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Screenwriting: Develop and write compelling and well-structured scripts for series, ensuring that the writing aligns with the creative and storytelling objectives.
Series Development: Collaborate with the Assistant Creative Director and production teams to conceptualize and develop series ideas, including plotlines, character development, and overall series arcs.
Character Development: Create and develop multi-dimensional characters with depth and relatability, making them integral to the series' success.
Dialogue: Craft engaging and authentic dialogue that brings characters to life and advances the storyline.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Photography, producers, and directors to ensure the scripts translate effectively into visual storytelling.
Revisions: Be open to feedback and able to make revisions as necessary to meet the creative vision and project requirements.
Format and Style: Ensure that scripts adhere to industry-standard format and style guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, Screenwriting, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Series Screenwriter with a strong portfolio showcasing writing versatility and storytelling ability.
Strong understanding of series development and character-driven storytelling.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work within project timelines and meet deadlines.
Additional Information:
The position may require occasional travel for research or collaboration with production teams.
Flexibility with working hours may be required to meet series production schedules.
